If you feel that life has gotten routine and uneventful and you are tired of looking in the miror, consider a makeover. Creating a a new appearance can brighten up your life, make you more confident, and create the momentum you need. When you have confidence it will make a difference in your attitude. You may find yourself participating in new activities or facing challenges you were once too frightened to deal with. Makeovers can be basic or extreme. A new look may mean updating your costmetic bag like mineral makeup and new lipgloss. It may also mean changing your entire wardrobe and hair style. If the time has come for a major change, grab your wallet and most comfortable footwear and head to the mall for a whole new you. From mineral cosmetics to new handbags, it is time for a new look.

Sometimes the best place to start a makeover is with your closet. Sort through your wardrobe and toss anything that no longer fits or is no longer in fashion. If anything needs drycleaning or mending, put it aside so you can take care of it when you have a free moment. Now, make a list of the basic items you need. How many of them are still left in the closet following the purge? Those items will be the very least you need. Begin with neutral or black quality slacks, comfortable jeans that are not torn or damaged, a black dress that is great for all occasions, a cozy sweater or cardigan, shorts or casual pants, and a variety of long and short sleeve t-shirts. You can also include tanks and camisoles on this list, as well as an oxford or button down shirt. Depending upon your where you work, you will also want one quality suit.

Now that you have decided what you need head to the store. Make sure you wear good fitting undergarments so you will have a good indication of how the new clothing fits your body. Try on everything before making a purchase, and if you can, bring along a shopping buddy. Having a second opinion you can trust {is a key to success|will help you make the right choices.

Once your arms are weighed down with packages, head to the stylist. If you are brave and confident in their ability, let them decide what to do Tell them you want a drastic change and then sit back and relax. If you are not that brave, give them a few ideas about your likes and dislikes, like how short you are willing to go. If you still want to give them some input, alter the color and let them decide how it will turn out.

Head over to the beauty bar. Often, the salespeople will complete a makeover for free, in hopes of our buying the products. Listen to their advice so you can duplicated it once you are home. When the makeover is finished, decide which pieces suit you best and make the purchase. After a long day of shopping, you have done it. You have created a whole new you.
