It is a fascinating journey to understand how a part of a woman’s everyday fashion, her shoes, is affecting society and culture. The history of women’s shoes started from the Patten. It was made from fabrics like silk and stitched leather but was not water resistant. It led on to the invention of the chopine. Chopines were higher ; it was made that way to symbolize the social standing of the lady who wore it, the higher the chopine, the better the standing of the wearer. The Catholic Church accepted the chopines, with the belief that this impeded dancing, which reduced the possibility of a woman to sin. In Venice it was reported that a couple of women suffered from miscarriage after falling while wearing them. Ladies would go the additional mile for the sake of fashion.

The shoes a lady is wearing reinforce her image and enhance her confidence. The variety of women’s shoes includes dressy, platforms, gladiators, flats and wedges.

In the 1940′s war emerged, but notwithstanding that ladies still wished to look chic. Women chose between, the easy, practical low heeled shoe for active duty and the high heeled which was employed for daily tasks. The ankle boots, Ballet flats, Knee Boots, Pumps, Sandal, Thigh boots, Thong, T- strap, Block heel, Flats, Pointed Toe, Rounded Toe, Stilletto heels and wedges are a few of the shoe types sold all around the planet to pander to women’s desires. Magnificent artistry was needed to come out with these designs. Today brands like Converse, Asics, DC shoes, K-swiss, Mizuno, Marc Ecko, Mephisto and Ugg boots are a few of the brands that come out with new designs every season. The more work a woman is entitled to do the more complicated her shoes become.

running shoes had 4 main variations from the classic running shoes, trail shoes and the casual comfort series. Women’s shoes are absolutely different from those of men’s shoes. They differ in style and shape. They are built for function with traits like stability, performance and motion control.

Women’s boots have also modified throughtout the centuries. Todays’ boots now have an anti bacterial lining, they also have dressy lace up design and boots that are specifically made for hunting. For women that enjoy being casual yet still stylish, sandals are the very best choice. There are a lot of varieties which include Chinese washing sandals which are good looking. While Teva Sandals are utilised for hiking. There is no end for the form of women’s shoes. It may continue to innovate so long as designers and ladies team up to gain results that would satisfy a woman’s fantasy when it comes to arriving at that perfect look that only a sweet shoe can provide.

One of my favourite brands right now is women’s clothing. A great example of an ethical brand.
Folks caring for people. People caring for the environment. And folk looking good. When did fashion become this exciting! Moral is indeed fashionable.
So go have a look at women’s clothing and do your bit for ethical fashion.
