Fashion has gone a long way from being outlined simply by the clothing and accessories a girl wears. It is now a multi-million dollar industry that inspires artists, dress makers, visionaries, models and trend setters in creating everyday what we call modern day sculptures. A dress isn’t just a dress ; a complete story revolves around its existence. A simple black dress can do great things for the body of a lady if she knows the proper way to intensify it in a proper way.
In the 1950′s the smart, well-groomed look was the trend. Girls were predicted to perform nicely in their field ; there was a perfectionist sense of style that pervaded the age. We can learn much about how the women went about with their lives by the garments that they wore during a precise era.
In the 1960s girls voiced more of themselves, floral patterns and polka dot designs appeared, they were braver and more brazen. Life sprang from the garments that they wore ; yellow and green was courageously spread on the patterns.
Girls during that era where starting to generate ideas on how to massively change their life by coming up with brave statements in the garments and accessories that they wore. It was a protest against the former sort of garments seen in the Renaissance. The wide cut and outline was to rebel against tight fitting bodice and sleeves that a girl had to wear during the middle ages. It was not to claim that Renaissance fashion was not
artistic on its own. Designers had just worked out a technique to make women’s fashion easier and more recent, to match the ever changing economy and line of jobs women undertook in society. In 1972 the time law was passed in the US stating that men and women should be treated equally by law.
The 1970s was the time of women’s liberation. From 1970 to 1979, the number of women joined up to colleges increased. For the 1st time more women were enrolled than men in the united states The 1970s started the costume history of fashion, women could opt to dress up and bring to life the characters they dreamed of becoming.
The 1980s best influence was Madonna, with girls looking up to her. Madonna’s hair and make -up was a distinct style in the 1980s. During the 1990s women’s fashion became more casual and free, with jeans and loose shirts. Women rushed to salons to have the Rachel haircut popularized by Jennifer Aniston. Navel piercing also became part of women’s fashion. A stronger sense of style was needed to keep up with the changing mindset of teenagers.
Men’s clothes were also experimented by girls to form a stronger look, the polo and tight jeans were seen everywhere. America and Europe inspired the clothes that girls wore all over the world. Today women’s fashion would vary from the mood and image that they might like to portray. Singer and composer lady Gaga dared to portray the wacky and bizarre style that just a couple of dare to try. A lady can now create her very own look. The best genius that women’s fashion could teach a girl is to wear how she would like to be understood and validate it with her actions.
